A Wedding Photo Shoot in the African Wilderness

We had the pleasure of capturing a couple’s safari wedding photoshoot at Ulusaba Private Game Reserve. What made this shoot different was the absence of a formal ceremony – instead, it was a couple of hours dedicated to only capturing moments in the bush.

The day started in the challenging midday sun for photography, but the couple’s enthusiasm shone brightly despite the heat. The couple was ready for anything, the bride, donning her boots and exuding an infectious energy that set the tone for the day ahead.

The game drive was not just about capturing the couple’s memories; it was about appreciating the wild encounters that unfolded. We encountered elephants, and later, an incredible moment as a lioness crossed the river. It was an unforgettable experience.

We concluded the shoot at Rock Lodge, both on the deck and inside the lodge. Each corner offered a picturesque backdrop, allowing us to capture the couple in the lodge’s African ambiance.
