Love Takes Flight – a magical South Africa Elopement

Eloping to South Africa for an intimate wedding in the wild was a dream come true for this couple. At Ulusaba, the African wilderness became the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony under the trees in the middle of the South African bush.

As a pilot, the groom’s passion for flight and the couple’s zest for something a little different led us to capture some of the post-ceremony photographs on the Ulusaba airstrip. This fun and unconventional choice made for a memorable and unique addition to their safari wedding album.

As safari wedding photographers, we need to find the moments that are not just visually beautiful for us, but that also tell a story of what is unique to them, capturing spontaneous moments as we go. For this couple, the ultimate South African elopement in the wilderness became a big chapter in their love story, and for us, capturing their day was an honour.
