In the heart of the African bush, amidst the beauty of Ulusaba Private Game Reserve, Olivia and Stephen had their romantic safari elopement. It was the perfect winter day – lots of warm light and a neutral palette, setting the stage for the day ahead.

The couple stayed at Safari Lodge where they both got ready in their separate luxury suite. The suites, with beautiful views out into the bush, are the perfect place to enjoy the calm and relaxed atmosphere that comes with a safari wedding.

They both had a couple of tiny details to add to the location of their elopement. Stephen’s cufflinks were a map of South Africa on the one, and on the other, a map of their home country, Ireland. Olivia’s gown on the other hand was giraffe-inspired! The perfect details for a wedding day in the bush.

The Lower Deck at Rock Lodge provided the perfect vantage point over the bush and a sweeping backdrop for the intimate ceremony. This was further complemented by the sight of elephants grazing on the horizon, adding an extra touch of “Africa” to the moment.

The photo session after the ceremony was filled with elephant encounters during their game drive and a golden sunset, perfect for a romantic photo session. As wedding photographers, it was a great experience to document Olivia and Stephen’s safari wedding.
